Alliance House is situated in the leafy conservation area of Newington Green, North London, which received a Green Heritage Site award in 2007. The entrance to Alliance House is a fully restored and renovated Grade II listed building which started life as the China Inland Mission. Behind this impressive gated frontage is an attractive landscaped garden area providing pleasant surroundings to the newly constructed student residences.

Newington Green is on the famous No.73 bus route which passes through Islington, Angel, King's Cross and Oxford Street. Nearby Stoke Newington, with its variety of restaurants and bars, is a popular hangout for both residents and guests.
